The beds were not the most comfortable. Too hard, but also with annoying polyvinyl under the sheets.
Maybe we were expecting a more well-kept beach in this 5-star resort. Comparing the beach with the neighboring, much smaller 4-star resort Sunnyside Apartments shows some of the weaknesses of the Falkensteiner resort beaches.
All in all this was very nice weekend stay in very good hotel. Pool area was big enough with plenty of deck chairs and the beach was very close.
There was wide choice of freshly made food for dinner and breakfast. Only the drink servis at dinner was rather slow. Otherwise it was nice to get late check out (2 pm).
At check out we were a bit surprised that hotel was not informed about our advanced payment to the Hotel.com but the situation was settled soon enough.
Marvelous experience! Quiet location, bur still close to the sea. Room was spacious in great condition with designer furniture. I have the sheets changed after 2 days of stay! Very positive personnel, great service, tasty breakfast and dinner. It was a 5 star experience! Highly recommended.

The room was gorgeous and the view was beautiful.
This room is right in the action of Zadar, right next to the Diocletician palace.
While the room is gorgeous, it is not exactly functional.
For instance, the coffee table seats provided were very low (like children seating).
The bed was also very stiff (and I have slept in tents for 30 days straight...).
The two people in charge however were very lovely and we appreciated their availability and helpfulness.
Overall a great hotel in downtown...
Beautiful Hotel in the old Zadar. They have rooms where the reception and restaurant are located but have lot of rooms accross the road in the part that they call the Annex.
We had a room number 4 in the annex. Spacious, nice decoration, spacious bathroom. Safe, fridge. Water, tea and coffee station in the hallway.
