The rooms were beautiful and the whole place incredibly quiet. Very relaxing. While I was there, the restaurant/bar was hit or miss, but hopefully they’ll fix it soon!

What an amazing place. The rooms were beautifully designed. Love the private fire pit and slept so well since bed was extremely comfortable. To top it off, the staff was so helpful, gracious and genuinely nice. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to everyone.

Love the unique rooms made of shipping containers!!! Fun and inventive, and the room was extremely comfortable, intimate and well appointed. Really love the outside area to relax and watch stars in the nighttime sky. Quiet and secluded like you're miles away but still near a vibrant small town. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making for a great experience.

The hotel itself is very nice and relaxing. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet which made a great sleep.
Only wish they had enough available grills to use for all guests or at least specified somewhere on the website that they are first come first serve and you are unlikely to get one if you need it, we had the fire pit ready but no grill was available to use all night so we were unable to grill our food. I had also emailed asking about them and wish they would have specified this.
Also we realized our room door did not lock from the outside only from the inside when we put the lock ourselves so when/if we had to step out of our room anyone could have come by and opened it. It could have been a faulty lock or it just didn’t work at all but that was a bit frustrating. Overall it was a good stay without the kinks it would have been great.

We really liked this hotel - the privacy, the spaciousness, the memorable moments. However, there was a very small staff, and that definitely impacted our stay. Several things were broken in our room (toilet roll holder, AV holder). We had to wait forty minutes for our room to be ready, and then there was no service for our three day/two night stay... wet towels in the morning the second room, no bed make-up for the second day, etc.
We also wished that the fires had been lit and the property cleaned (food containers from cafe open till 10 AM were left out all day)... but we chalked up our experience to it being the off season and skeleton staffing. Still, the beauty of the place, proximity to the park, bath, bed view and very large shower made up for a lot for the little inconveniences. Overall our experience was very positive. We had read reviews about the property's growing pains, and think those were accurate.

I booked a room with an outdoor bathtub and fire pit. While the view of the mountains was amazing, the level of privacy is kind of not ideal. Parts of the privacy/view is connected to an unfinished road where it gives “confused” drivers a nice view of what’s going on outside/inside depending on whether you had the privacy curtains up/down or if you are using your outdoor tub. Their menu is fairly limited and also a tad bit overprice so you are better off bringing/buying food elsewhere. If you do happen to buy food offsite, know that your room does not have a microwave to heat anything up so food can get cold since your a/c will be on for the most part to avoid the heat outside. The staff were very friendly and overall I still had a great time. Just know that you’re privacy may not be as private as you think

OK, some issues to be ironed out
Just want to preface this by saying I know they're a new hotel, and they're still working out kinks so I'm sure some of this stuff will improve over time. Overall, the stay was OK. The outdoor spaces were nice, but the room itself was super small and looked cheaply done. There was no cold water at night, and my colleague had to be moved twice because the AC kept dripping. My room was not cleaned a single time in my week long stay. There were large chunks of time where the front desk was unstaffed. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly though, and I appreciate their help! Overall my stay did not meet my expectations, and I think it's overpriced for the quality of the hotel.

The resort was so peaceful. I really liked the private patio. Next time I’ll upgrade to a desert king so I don’t have to share a container

I traveled alone to the Reset Hotel in 29 Palms and found a quiet kind of abundance. One hundred acres of open desert stretch out toward Joshua Tree, threaded with trails and punctuated by unexpected art. Time slowed there. Space opened up. Being in that vast stillness felt like its own rare, understated luxury.

The hotel itself was very nice and friendly staff (especially Cheryl). However, the service was extremely slow, the design of the showers are poor, and the rooms are not cleaned daily.

I stayed in Room 19. The hot water worked well, and the patio felt safe for a solo stay, which I really appreciated. The location is also great, as it’s close to Joshua Tree National Park.
However, the cleanliness was disappointing. The bathroom floor had visible dark grime, to the point where I felt like I needed to keep my shoes on. The shower booth was particularly unpleasant, with yellow buildup on the floor, leftover hair, and even a sticker on the wall that clearly wasn’t mine. It felt like the bathroom hadn’t been properly cleaned for quite some time.
I also noticed what looked like coffee stains on the bedding when I pulled it back.
It’s a beautiful property overall, but I hope more attention can be given to cleanliness.
