The experience was overall wonderful. The hotel is a fascinating building, and the decor is rich and interesting. The room itself was a pretty good size and, of course, the tub is COMPLETELY worth it. It felt like being inside a little bubble, completely away from the world. Some things that weren't a deal breaker but could have been better. - The bathroom (toilet) doesn't have a proper closing door. It is a sliding door and there isn't much privacy. - The hotel itself (NOT the room) had a bit of a weird smell. - There is construction right across from the hotel and they started early in the morning. That is not the staff or the hotel's fault, but worth knowing before you book.

We will stay here every time we are in Denver moving forward and would recommend it 100%. All the amazing history without a sacrifice for comfort and privacy. The hotel is fully booked while we were there and we never heard anyone else at night. The two-person copper tub. Epic.

The negative was there was no television set in the room. This was the first hotel I've ever been to with no t.v. T.V.s are so inexpensive now, that it shouldn't be a problem to add those. The other negative was the plumbing in the shower. If you tried to cool down the temperature it went completely cold so we had to quickly shower in way to hot water. The positive was the super comfy bed and access to the lounge and pizza restaurant next door. It was also quick to the 16th street bus system which is free.
