There was no WiFi although the property descryption said so when we booked. Contacted the property admin for two days and received no response. One third of the lights were not working or no globe at all. The property is conveniently located to all the major amenities. Check-in was contactless and harssle free.

Location is good, just 6-7 minutes away from train station, 6 minutes from Floyen Station and port. Only bad thing about it, was no bin in bedroom or living room and 3:00 pm check in time.

After reading some of the reviews, I was rather anxious about what I was going to get. I got exactly what I had previously expected, before reading the negative reviews. Clean bedding, clean room. A towel, which I had not expected. The entrance was round the side, so thank you to the person who put up a picture with that information. (what3words - scooter.curve.props) The building is definitely not 5* hotel quality, but for what I wanted - a cheap, clean place to stay, with cooking facilities - it was perfect. I came back from one excursion, mid-morning, and found the cleaners there, doing their thing, so I could see it was cleaned after the rooms were vacated. A great little place, close to lovely eateries and I would definitely go back there again.

Quite dirty with lots of hair in the corners. The kitchen is not stocked well, not even two forks. Comfortable beds and great location.

Avoid if possible

Good points: well located and the bed was comfortable. The communication was good by message. Bad points: a really really old place. I don't recommend it. Loud alarm noise all the night we can't stop. Gas noise. Shower broken. Mold in the bathroom. This place needs refurbishment. It's okay for one night for one person in the best case but that's all. Excessive price for what is it. I knew some one star campings who are better.

My room was fine once I managed to lug my bag up the stair and open the door that was stuck. Room and bathroom were clean and in good condition. Communication was not great. I got an email stating I should fill in a pre-check-in form but no such form showed up for me. I sent an email asking about it. No reply. I tried to chat. No reply. I did get my codes in time though, so apparently that form wasn't necessary after all. Price is on the high side for what you get. Location, very close to railway station, was perfect for me.

BEDBUGS and used BOXERS

The hotel is nicely located in the city. It’s equipped w some cutlery and has an adjusted ventilation system. The cleanliness however, omg. Dusty, so much hair and stains on the bed, dirty fingerprints on oven/light switches. I found BEDBUGS and used BOXERS under the mattress. I wanted to cry. I can’t believe people are charged that much for that room quality. DO BETTER PLEASE

Great room and value for money, BUT NO RECEPTION! It is all self-service check-in, with codes. Not good for a woman on her own. What if you had a problem with someone? In fact, for both men or women, not having a person at Reception is disconcerting. - what if you lost your key, could not use the oven, or shower, had any questions? Please go back to traditional receptions and give guests a welcoming face on arrival. And someone to provide assistance on-the-spot when necessary.

Easy, convenient stay here! I wish it was indicated that there are 3 locations to this company prior to me being there. Rooms were plenty of space and i appreciated that it had a full kitchen and bathroom, however there was only one window on the roof and I could not open it due to the rain. The room was really stuffy and a bit smelly because there was no circulation. Walls were very thin so I could hear the people across from me as if they were in my room. Also my door never locked, luckily its in a safe area but it could have been a problem. You get what you pay for, its definitely a good budget place for travelers coming to Bergen.

You get what you pay for

The hotel is located right in the city center. This is also probably the only really good thing I can say about it other than it is cheap. The TV didn't work. I had to make a call to get the WiFi-password as this was not available anywhere in the room or in the communication beforehand. The WiFi was also kinda sketchy, making some streaming sites fail. There was hand soap and toilet paper in the bathroom, but nothing else, so bring your own shampoo and body wash. The room has a lot of wear and tear. It was clean-ish and that's probably the best thing I can say. I stayed at the third floor and could not find any elevator, so if you have difficulty with stairs, then be aware. I would say the standard is reflected in the price. For me, just needing a room for the night, it was fair enough. If you expect anything more than this, I would assume you would be disappointed.

Never have I ever... Nor will again

The check in went smoothly. But... I have stayed at several hotels and hostels around Europe through the last 15-20 years. The is by far the most challenging stay I have had so far. As seen on the pictures the attempt to clean room 301 before my stay was doubtful. One can wonder what the brown spots next to the toilet were. There was next to no toiletpaper which was a surprise when arriving late in the evening. But the main issue was the air system of the whole building. Or rather the unexpected loud noise from it. Not even my ear plugs from the construction industry could withstand the force. When talking to the female manager (forgot her name), I was surprised by the way of communication that is normally friendly and helpful in Norway. I was told that there was no problem with the sound. I asked her to pop by and listen for herself, but "this is a low budget hotel so no. You get what you pay for" Once again I urged her friendly but firmly for her to come by and listen to the loud noise. "If you want to meet me tomorrow to have someone to tell at then I am in 9 am." I had to ask why she would think that hence I never rose my voice neither used ugly language. We agreed to talk again the next morning. With less than three hours of sleep, I call her at 7 am and asked a full refund that she offered the night before. My trust in her and this hotel was way overdue, and I found a better later. In short: Filthy, unsleepable stay with a hostile service that was next to none.

If you just want to sleep, no problem, as long as the smell of Chinese food doesn't wake you up at 8:30 am. But thankfully, there's a shower to get rid of that smell, at least if you don't mind cold water.

Yellow urin spots on toilet seat when checking in. Water cooker was full of dirty smelly liquid. And sounded like someone tried to break into our room at night. You can absolutely find better at same price.

I paid for the room four months before arrival, on the day of the reservation. I received a confirmation with the room number and access details to open all the doors in order to reach the key box. Unfortunately, there was no key inside. Contacting the property owner did not help. He was unable to find my reservation and could not provide the key. The next day, he messaged me asking whether I had slept in my room or in a different room. (was I supposed to break into another room?). As a result, I was forced to use one of the R&B offers in Bergen, and I did not get back the money — over 600 NOK. Of course, I am unable to assess the cleanliness of the room or the rest of the service.

A satisfactory visit. It is a budget rental, therefore we expected as much. It was a little rough around the edges, but did the job. The light in the living room and main bunk room did not work; although the tv worked, there were no channels, so pointless. There was nowhere comfortable to sit, the pictures showed a couch which was not there. Plastic chairs may be functional, but definately not comfortable. All beds were twin beds😟

Fine for a one or 2 night stay as Bergen's an expensive city. Had the room with a bathroom so had all I needed. Very close to the usual attractions but far enough away to be quiet.

There was no toilet rolls in the room, and also the frying pan should be replaced by the new one, as old one is totally destroyed plus there is no pans, if you want to cook something.
