I do recommend this apartment, but my experience was very mixed, with clear positives and negatives. I stayed from Dec 25, 2025 to Jan 1, 2026.
The apartment itself is large, well equipped, and very well maintained — excellent in this regard. The location is also outstanding: right in downtown Ushuaia, close to restaurants, shops, and the port, making it very easy to get around on foot.
However, there were some significant issues. The listing mentioned a washing machine, but there was none in the apartment, which was inconvenient during a long stay. The shower is extremely small (around 60x60 cm), making it very uncomfortable to use, even for an average-sized person — especially frustrating since the bathroom itself is very large and could easily accommodate a bigger shower.
Because the apartment is on a main avenue, traffic noise at night can be an issue if you’re a light sleeper, particularly during busy periods like Christmas and New Year.
Communication was inconsistent: hot water issues were handled immediately and professionally, but a later question about the washing machine was seen and never answered.
Overall, it’s a comfortable apartment in a fantastic location, but some fixable issues (shower size, missing washing machine, and communication consistency) affected my overall experience.
