We stayed in the paddock rooms which were recently renovated. Bedding was very comfy. The room needs carpeting around the bed area as it’s only vinyl plank flooring in there, and the bathroom has a stone texture flooring which has a rougher feel to the foot than tile. They were doing construction right outside our patio, so the view was not a garden view. Lots of tractor noise around 7:30 am. I would go back, but stay in another area. Property is big and there’s a lot of construction going on. It’s a beautiful property.

Except for the main check-in area, the restaurant and front of the property, it was not as pleasant as we expected. Understandably, due to the ownership changing hands, the whole property is going through a total remodeling and restoration and the grounds and rooms have not been touched yet. The room was comfortable enough, but is still the same as it was with the original owners. It was clean, however. We are looking forward to staying there once everything is completed and from the looks of the future plans, it will be AMAZING, with a marvelous event facility, as well. From what I was told, completion should occur around the middle of 2027.

We really enjoyed ourselves for the weekend. Looking for a girls weekend trip and this will be perfect for us. The staff was friendly and helpful ; Dave gave us a rundown on the renovations and istened to ideas we had on leaving certain things in the room for that home feel. The location was great!
