Interesting lodging. It's an apartment building that seems to have longer term tenants, it's not really a hotel as there's no staff on site. We were able to reach a very helpful and friendly staff person via phone, however. Shared bathrooms, kitchen and living area. Clean. Good grocery market 2 kins down the hill. Overall, good value.

Interesting lodging. Feels a lot like a college dorm set up. Small rooms with small balconies with shared bathrooms, shared kitchen and a living space with TV. It felt like a good value for Norway, which tends to be expensive. We'd stay there again.

Worst security ever

Worst Security ever! You pick up your key in a key box. No1 has the code 0001 and so forth. Upon arrival there was no key in my assigned box. Tried to call several times - no answer. Open another key box and found a key. Went to the room only to discover a sleeping man in the room !! There’s a emergency halo platform in front - expect much noise all around the clock

Rommet var greit, men bærer preg av alderdom/slitasje. Det store felles badet var greit, men dusjen stå ikke montert ordentlig, så den hellet inn mot en side og var rett og slett ikke trygg å stå i. Føltes ubehagelig. Baderom/do mellom rommene var som et gammelt kått. Ville aldri dusjet der. Senga var god og sengetøyet tilsynelatende rent. Det var en litt rar lukt på rommet.

Grei innsjekk. Fant ikke håndklær, så brukte egne, passet ikke for oss med delt bad og kjøkken. Synes da at prisen var for høy i forhold til delte fasiliteter. Kjøleskap/ fryser på rommet var et pluss. Veldig lydt, så fikk ikke sove da en person satt i stua med tv på til kl 02 og har hostet. Ellers greit sted

Extreme itchiness from the sheets on the bed - could hardly sleep due to it. VERY THIN WALLS and could hear everything in the next room. I asked to be switched to a different room but did not receive a timely response (there are no staff onsite - remote only). I asked for a partial refund and was denied. You are also fairly far from the center of Alesund. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.
