The room was very clean and even over the next day they entered made the bed and even took out the trash and pizza boxes. The staff were kind and even gave great food recommendation's.

Avoid the bustle and expense of big city hotels or the run of the mill, high priced "budget" ones and give Dav-Ed your business. Far from luxury, this 70s era motel is a step back to simpler times. From the pink tiled shower and the vintage avocado green chair, you'll find a quaint and clean place to rest your head. Bring your own coffee pot!

It’s a lovely, kitschy place. It was the first stop over on my cross country road trip and it could not have been a more appropriate slice of Americana. The folks who run it are very kind and helpful and I felt safe there. It’s not modern, but that’s its charm.

Carpet smelled like pee and cigarettes. Gross.

They put us in a smoking room. The room smelled like dog pee, cigars, cigarettes. They said we could not change it. Someone should call the health department on these folks. The carpet was ancient and had cigarette ashes and burns all over it. My feet were so black! Clean your floors. Change that carpet. Room number 3.

Excellent Staff

The staff was was excellent and friendly. We had an issue with the heater in one of the rooms and the staff was very quick to fix the problem. They move us to another room with a working heater.

The location was very convenient for our trip. Room was very clean and quiet. Check in/out was easy. Vintage style room with a microwave and small refrigerator. No coffee pot. We would stay again if in the area.

The Dav-Ed is an older motel but is kept well. It was fairly priced and close to the interstate. Plus it was close to a couple dining options as well as gas stations. The only thing I didn't like was the room was not smoke free, but I used a few air fresheners to get rid of the smell. And the pool was closed (closed since Covid). I definitely would stay here again.
