This is a humble independent motel that strives to please. The furnishings are dated but the rooms are spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. Basic toiletries are supplied. Breakfast is s a true continental breakfast with mostly cereal, toast, and pastry offerings, with the addition of hard-boiled eggs and yogurt. The proprietor is super friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to use either the pool or mini-golf areas, but they look inviting.

We stayed one night when we were going to Wind Cave National Park. It is an older, refurbished motel that is maintained very well. The host was very friendly, and the continental breakfast had quite a variety compared to other “continental breakfasts” I’ve had. If you need just a night or two in this part of the Black Hills, I would recommend this place.
