Haven't been here for years and the property has been renovated quite nicely. Check-in was congested and slow, but very friendly staff. Room was clean and reasonably well laid out. Can only watch the TV when in bed, not when sitting on the lounge. TV only had standard FTA stations, no music streaming. I do wish that hotels would go away from instant coffee and provide plunger or coffee bags. Room service breakfast was OK, but the coffees were cold and the butter for the toast was a liquid mess.
I stayed here with my family and it was wonderful we got upgraded and I couldn’t fault it. So I booked myself and 3 of my friends a few days later. Unfortunately there was no upgrade with this one and I got a room overlooking the car park. Was still lovely, spacious clean rooms and bathrooms.
Pretty disappointing stay. Booked for our wedding anniversary - And the photos are definitely heavily edited. We booked the superior room and given how dark and tiny it felt I can't imagine what the studio must be like. The entrance was nice, but once inside I felt like I was in a motel in Florida. The day beds and lounges around the pool were filthy and in desperate need of upholstery cleaning. The room was at least quite clean (apart from stains on lampshade, and a bit of blood near bathroom bin) and neat so that was one plus. Mostly it was a culmination of smaller issues that made up the disappointment. We left the room at 9am coming back at 3pm and the room was still not made. I called and they were "busy doing checkout rooms". Our room overlooked the pool and could hear music pumping all friday afternoon while trying to relax as they had an event on in the bistro. The staff who checked us in were delightful, and overheard them mentioning a shuttle service to get into Freo. When I asked the girl the next day how to get into Fremantle she said "I don't know, uber?". Super helpful. Overall not a pleasant experience and I'd probably just book the Rydges next time.
Nice hotel, out of the main city but nice walk
Very friendly staff, clean room and great location
Thank you for accommodating my bridal troop so warmly and efficiently, we had a great time, plenty of room and loads of laughs. ♥️
Our room was a good size and very clean. Old hotel but well maintained.
The place was reasonably clean but there was stains on the couches and chips out of the walls that should be repaired. We were not given the king size bed we were meant to have everything was very basic compared to what was described. We were greatful it was just a one night stay in the room we had been placed in.
Wasnt a good stay. The door to the room had a 2cm gap which lets in light and sound. Not sound proof. People talked outside room through out the night and early hours No security to move them on No courtesy No mention in advert at time of booking the restaurant and kitchen were not open Bad feeling about the place as if something bad happened
Good location with helpful staff and secure onsite parking.
