This was our second stay here having spent several nights here the previous summer. This year it was a smaller room, with a higher price, and no view. Kind of felt like a downgrade. Hotel has been under renovation. The new, and I don't know if it's permanent or temporary, breakfast area is smaller. We liked the old one. Hotel remains in a great location, though.

It is the absolute best, unless you can afford the Ritz. Excellent location, close to Notre Dame, the Louvre, high end and more affordable budget shopping. Across the street, an excellent boulangerie to grab breakfast, multiple dinning options close by. Water and ice machines in every floor perfect after you have been walking in the sun all day long. Big comfortable rooms and bathrooms.
