2/10 Poor

Terrible is a n understatement. Bad neighborhood, absoluty fithy, the worst I have ever seen. Not worth 10$ per night. Beware !!!

Under renovation, poor cleaning of room, old smelling rooms. They left my room unlocked all day, would not lock snd attendant on duty dkdnt know how to turn the lock back on,

This place probably should be closed until renovations are finished. If Days Inn corporate took a look at this property which bears their name, they could no way be content. Over half of the property is bare bones serious construction and the other half is broken down and needing repairs. Amenity after amenity was either nonworking or partially working. The outside areas of the property were frequently occupied by questionable looking people who were not staying there and as dark approached, it did not feel safe outside of your room at all.

Do not recommend

Stayed for 1 night and that's all anyone could handle here. This hotel appears to be under new ownership and going through a transformation to get it up to par. But it is still a long way from being ready to host guests. It should not be open at all IMO. The room was as clean as you could get it, the bedding was new and good, but everything is old and run down, not pleasant. It is a large hotel but there were barely any guests, based on # of cars in parking lot. Even so, the room we were given was not really habitable. The door did not lock unless you were in the room and engaged the deadbolt and security lock. We discovered on the second day that it wasn't actually locked at all when we weren't inside. The breakfast area was filled with extra furniture and flooring was coming apart. If I were the owner I wouldn't let guests see it. The pool was the best part of this place. The asking price was much too high for a Sunday night and for the "amenities." I do not ask for much when I look for an affordable hotel room, but this one fell short of even my expectations.

when I called to confirm, the attendant told me that they were not excepting any Expedia reservations. This left my wife and I stuck in a city with nowhere to stay. This was extremely frustrating . Expedia should immediately remove this location from their website

No service

The toilet backed up, no phone in the room to call the front desk. Went to the front desk and all they did was give us a plunger! No help or clean up

Don’t stay

The room was not what we paid for. We paid for and the confirmation said two queen beds. We got two full beds instead. The doors where flimsy and felt like they where going to fall apart when you lightly pushed against them. They were sopposeditly remodeling and that was the reason for the smell.

Unfortunately, there are not many options in this area. But I regret having reserved a stay here. As a previous Red Roof, it may have been somewhat suitable (rooms updated). But the current owners have really let the property decline. I would not let anyone I know stay there.

Prepaid room---upon arrival at midnight: NO ROOM!

Never again...I had prepaid reservations. I called hotel at 3 pm to verify that everything was ok and I would be checking in late...I was told, don't worry "we will have a room for you when you arrive."...I arrived a little before midnight, and guess what...no room available...blaming Hotel.com saying Hotel.com overbooked the room...excuses, I'm sorry, saying all hotels in the area are booked...closest available:Chicago, 2 hours away! ...and I called early just to make sure everything was ok...I wonder if I'm going to be charged?...

Well when we check in the staff was very nice. Our room was so bad. The bedding had burn marks the sheet were yellow. The pillows (regular size) were in king size covers and all a mess. And the carpet was so dirty .the room was unusable. We ask for a refund and left. I will never go back . please dont go there . we have since recieved a refund. My daughter also had rooms book for the same night she also canceled all of her rooms.

Keys to an occupied room. Trash in the hallway. Horrible smell in the room. Scary dudes hanging out in the parking lot. TV didn't work. Strip club next door. Just filthy all around.

Place is too expensive for what it was. Was one step above a motel. Area was horrible. Inside was torn up and dirty. Looks like they just painted over the older nastier place. Breakfast was a joke. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Middle of remodel. Bed covers were stained and slipshod. Pillows tossed around. No fridge. Only 1 ice machine for the entire building. Bathroom however wax clean

The room we had was supposed to be non smoking and there was a smell of smoking in the room and we stayed for 2 days and where locked out of our room the second night and had to go to the front desk and get them to authorize the room keys for the 2nd night.

Disgusting. Dirt all over carpets, room smelled like dog and stale smoke. No continental breakfast or outdoor swimming pool like the description said. Felt like a very unsafe area. I would never bring my daughter back to this establishment. Outside of the building had 3 different names.... days inn. Red roof inn, and causeway bay hotel. Huge disappointment.

Desk clerk had tattoos all over and wearing just a tshirt, I have tattoos so that's not the problem, the problem is she presented herself and the hotel as sloppy. I do under hat the hotel is under construction but there should not be trash in the hallways, stairs were littered with dirt and debris, room smelt, bed was very uncomfortable, and the bathrooms vent made a horrible squeaking sound, and only 4 sheets of toilet paper on roll, on the plus side the air conditioner worked.
Barb, 1-night trip

HORRIBLE hotel. Pictures on site are not accurate. The bed covers were so dirty and nasty. Stains everywhere on carpets, beds, walls. There was one towel and a 1/4 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom on arrival. When I went to the desk and asked for 4 towels and toilet paper, I was told I could only have 3 towels since we had 3 guests and they gave me a hassle about the toilet paper! SERIOUSLY? STAY AWAY from this DUMP. People puking in the parking lot as we arrived. SCARY neighborhood too. I wish I had not paid online and could have received an refund. NOT a Red Roof Inn.

BEDBUG INFESTATION BEWARE!!! This was a Red Roof Inn only two weeks ago and everything from the sign outside to the keys still indicated the former status. As soon as we drove up, our hearts sank. There were stained mattresses by the main dumpster and a neglected dingy air to the place. Had it been clran and comfortable, all that would have been overlooked. But the beds were poorly made, carpet felt caked with residue, and toilet rocked on its base. We inspected the mattresses nd headboard for the telltale signs of bedbugs but though dirty we did not see the worriesome black spots. But we forgot to check the closet area with luggage stand opposit the bathroom. . Sure enough, a few hours after we checked out the following day and stopped to get something out of our trunk, there was a large bedbug walking on my bag. We have pictures for proof. Spent the next several hours at a laundromat throwing everything into a dryer on high heat and spraying the trunk down with 91% isopropyl alcohol. A horrible experience overall that ate up valuable vacation time. We called the hotel to report the problem but the manager has still not returned our call. Avoid this place at all costs.

If you're just looking for a place for the night and don't care about clean sheets or room, then it's fine.

Not a Red Roof Inn

First of all, this is NOT a Red Roof Inn, it has been bought by some Causeway Bay place and is terrible. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the hotel is in sad sad shape, most AC does not work in hotel, it is available in some rooms, also our door didn't latch, you didn't need a key to get in, you just pushed it open, it looked like it had been kicked in at some point and then not completely fixed. The entire hotel also feels crooked, the halls are slanted there were no towels at the front desk when the towels were gone from the pool area, no breakfast whatsoever, and the hot tub didn't work. This hotel is incredibly run down, this is false advertising because it is NOT a Red Roof Inn and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to be represented in this manner as a respectable hotel chain.
