Loved staying in this old pub. Comfortable room, a bit noisy as we were near the back kitchen, but not a real problem. Staff was superb. Bar was excellent. Enough on street parking was available though not always in front of the inn. Lovely town "square" across street.

The Clachan is a gem! It’s a wonderful pub and restaurant and the guest rooms are ideal for a stay near Loch Lomond or for the first stop along the west highland way! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Good choice
Super friendly staff, a nice dinner meal and a comfortable room. Wifi was good too. I particularly liked the garden, reserved for guests where I had dinner. Note there's no breakfast provided but the bakery opposite is an excellent option.

Fine and reasonable price for WHW.
Good stop off at end of day one of WHW. Twin bed setup so good for hikers sharing a room. TV didn't work, plug socket was awkward location for kettle. Shared bathroom had limited toilet paper. Evening meal reservation was incorrectly recorded for a different day, but a nearby pub had plenty of space instead.

Room was average but comfortable! Smelt a bit like smoking/ damp?! Was clean though with nice kettle tea etc. noise from kitchens not great! Shower was AMAZING! Proximity to amazing Clachan bar and restaurant was good. Probably wouldn’t stay here again though. Prefer to stay nearby!

What a cute town. What an amazing property steeped in history. Of course it is old. Look at the sign. 1734. Don't expect the ritz but the service and the food in the restaurant is amazing.
