Nice little tucked away spot in a popular location. A quiet courtyard type hotel with many rooms. Nicely kept greenery and pool area. Parking was ver convenient, and cheaper than most in the city. Price was very affordable as well.

Delightful spot, quiet reprieve from the Quarter, Jazz Fest. Good restaurants nearby. Slightly disappointed that the 12 street car wasn’t running to Canal St., buses taking its place for now. That’s not on the hotel. I love this place.

Hotel room was very clean. Could do without the unnecessary large table in the room.

Fairly priced stay near the Port of New Orleans. Good parking options and I enjoyed the safety of the gated-type grounds. Pool and spa were nice.

The stay was really good. And the location was perfect! A couple little things that weren't horrible. The window above the door wasn't covered, so the light from outside csme through. The water temps were hard to regulate.

The room was comfortable and clean. Thought it was weird the air conditioner was under the table but not a big issue. About 2 blocks from the trolley so no need to drive anywhere. We parked on the street which saved 25 dollars a day.

Great stay, staff was friendly. On site security and parking was easy. We took an Urber everywhere so we could be free from having to find parking in the city. Rooms are kinda on the smaller side but we was in them long. Great seafood restaurant next door. This will be our go to hotel from now on. Glad i found this place.

There should be an elevator for the level the room was on . There was hair in the bath towels and a roach in the living area with large un sweeped areas under the sofa. Very stuffy old and not worth the cost.

The gym was discusting, no idea the last time it had been cleaned. No available wipes to clean equipment after usage.
Very dusty room, layer of dust on top of Kleenex box. Not sure if walls in bathroom have ever been cleaned.
The staff is what saves this place = so kind.

The hotel is average, as expected. The staff was mostly very friendly. The hotel room was dirty. The floors were not cleaned from the last visitor and were never even swept the entire stay. The towels were not replaced once. The shower was not cleaned once. They took the soap from the counter but did not replace. I had to go ask for toilet paper at 10:30pm because no additional toilet paper was replaced the entire stay - and the staff seemed put out by this request. It was clear that the staff came in, made the bed, and left.

I never leave reviews, but I have to share the good word about Maison St Charles. I live about 90min outside of New Orleans, but work in the city on the weekends, so I often get a hotel to spare myself the commute and this is the best bang for your buck hotel there is. I've stayed everywhere from cheap motels to the most expensive hotels in NOLA -- and the Maison St Charles rivals hotels 3x more expensive. My daughter loves this hotel as well. Some places have no local flavor, but when you stay here there is no doubt you're in New Orleans. The architecture, the classic courtyards (which are delightful for relaxing sipping on your morning coffee), the murals, the Spanish tiled pool & hot tub, everything. The rooms have antique yet modern furnishing. The beds are super comfortable which is a must for me because I have a bad back. The staff are hospitable, the night guard even gathered us a couple of towels when he saw we were swimming without any. Speaking of security, the hotel complex is gated and guarded. I don't like the fact you have to pay for parking, but it's not that big of a deal because I literally always get a parking spot right next to the hotel. The neighborhood is pretty safe I feel safe going to my car at night.

I booked a 3 night stay for me and my family and never received my $100 deposit back for parking and I don’t even own a car ! The manger there told me I was charged for 3 nights of parking & I never had a car to park for the start I don’t even know how I had to pay a deposit for parking that I never asked for either and they never responded back ! Or put my money back on my card either so what I just lose out ? Overall the stay was wonderful until this issue at checkout and I still never heard anything back about it ! Can I have my deposit back please and thank you

1-bathroom floors were not cleaned—I was there five nights.
2-I had to ask the office for towels or soap on several days.
3-The water does not go to the shower head completely when pulling the lever. Half of the water stays below.
4-I think the showers should have grab-bars installed—especially for us older folks.
This could become a liability issue with the hotel.
5-The television remote was not working properly or maybe the hotel doesn’t provide the “guide” on the remote or any other feature on it-except volume and going from channel to channel a click at a time are the only two things working!
THIS WAS THE THIRD TIME I STAYED AT MAISON EVER SINCE PRYTANIA PARK HOTEL CLOSED WHERE I STAYED FOR FIFTEEN YEARS.
I’m a frequent visitor to New Orleans—at least three or four times per year. I would like to continue staying at MAISON ST. Charles. I like the area and as I mentioned I stayed at Prytania Park for many years.
Clearing up the above problems would certainly keep me returning.
Feel free to communicate with me to let me know how you might be responding to the above problems. I would be interested in finding out.
Have a good evening and I look forward to hearing from you…

Check in was quick, friendly and easy.
Room could do with a little TLC, especially the bathroom.
No tea and coffee and making facilities in the room.
Plastic disposable cups wrapped in plastic never fails to surprise me, common North America time to ditch the plastic.
