Everything about our stay and the value compared to other accommodations was GREAT! The only downfall was that the rooms weren’t connected directly to the building’s ac (seemed to only be in the hallways), but our room did at least have a window that could open and a circulating fan.

The only downside to this place was the no A/C. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it was hot. Other than that, it was good for a two night stay. Close to downtown and easy to get to and from.

There were rats/mice that I saw around the dorms. Staff was very nice and accommodating and the rooms were quiet and safe.

Great value accommodation in South Halifax. The rooms are basic and a bit gloomy but the bed was very comfortable and everything was pretty clean. It would've been super helpful if there was a small fridge available to use but the microwave in the lounge was handy. Helpful staff and good public transport links, about 30 minute walk to the main boardwalk area

A very basic accomodation. Budget friendly. Beds were not the most comfortable, airflow in the room was minimal. Very clean. A fan was provided for added comfort. No kettle or coffee maker available. Microwave available.

It’s very convenient accommodation if you just looking for somewhere to sleep and take a shower. Overall, if you don’t mind seeing bunch of hair on the floor, place is pretty clean. I recommend getting indoor shoes. Staff is really helpful and so nice. You have to walk pretty much everywhere but it’s really close to downtown(15-20mins). If you are a solo traveler with low budget, this is where you stay.

The room was very basic which I expected but the wifi was annoying as you had to connect EVERY time you unlocked your phone… just a heads up.
The room was also overly warm for June so thankfully there was a table fan in the room or I would not have been able to sleep from the heat.

The room was solid. It was good to have my own space. The shower and bathroom were both good. The room was very hot however. There was a small fan, but it did little to combat the heat. The staff were efficient, but didn't interact with me much. Also, this isn't a negative for the accommodation but I would have preferred if there were more people around to chat to. It felt pretty isolating at times.
