The location is absolutely outstanding if you are there as a tourist. It is close to everything and easily accessible. The room and other common area facilities were immaculate and very nicely designed. We had booked a deluxe junior suite, which matched the description and pictures exactly. This was all excellent.
The problems we experienced were all with the service-we had to call each day late in the afternoon to get housekeeping to come in. That was very curious. Our first morning, we greeted the housekeeping person on our way out and she was coming out of the room next door. Nine hours later, no one had come to clean the room and it was 5:30pm in the afternoon. When I called the front desk they informed me that cleaning hours were 9am to 5pm-well, they had that entire time period open to them but had elected not to come.
Each day was like this for housekeeping.
There is also an Experience Team, who reached out to us the day before we left home inquiring about preferences for our room set up. That was a nice touch, but we had made the booking months in advance. In any case, we turned the preference request right away, but because of the short lead time, they were unable to translate that into any of preferences we had elected.
In the end, they spent more time writing apology notes than actually doing the work.
The service at this hotel was extremely poor, which should be easy to remedy. Given the location and the excellent facilities, this could become a great place.
