Disappointed
On day three of the stay workmen were working with heavy equipment from 08.00 on the flat roof directly above our apartment, waking us and also using the terrace outside the room which was supposed to be for our personal use. This was planned works and we should have been told about it and offered an alternative. When this continued into the next day we complained and we're initially offered a move but this was later withdrawn as all other rooms were full. Special mention though to the member of staff in the restaurant who worked hard to try to resolve this for us and negotiated shorter times for the workmen to be on site. In the apartment, pillows were very hard making sleep difficult. One evening there was no hot water. Positives were a good location and nice breakfast provided by lovely staff. The on site restaurant also provided very tasty Lebanese food.
