Hotel is nice but is undergoing some refurbishment right now so be aware of that. We also paid for a premium room but the view is not worth it, better off with the atrium view probably. However, it’s comfortable and staff are friendly. Location is very good for the old town though.

Great location. It is currently under renovations, both the road its on, and the hotel itself. The rooms were queit and bedding was good. Overall, good stay but a warning of construction would be appreciated. Parking is valet only and with the roads being closed for pedestrians and construction, it was difficult getting to the hotel.

A true gem in the middle of Old Montreal

Hotel Nelligan was a pleasure from start to finish, and this was despite a massive construction project on the street in front of the hotel. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, the accommodations incredibly well-appointed, clean and comfortable, the price point was excellent for the value, and the location right in the middle of Old Montreal can't be beat. I would characterize this place as elegant rustic. Will definitely book again if back in Montreal!
