Birthday Celebration
Excellent service from welcoming staff to receptionist to house keeping. The room was very high standard overlooking the golf course. In club house I would certainly recommend the food as this was a birthday celebration - I could not fault the service.

Avoid at all costs!
I’d give this 3 stars at most. Beautiful grounds, but that’s about it. Pillows smelt like neck sweat and were very uncomfortable, asked for a firmer pillow and they just put another pillow in the pillow I already had. Dirty bathroom , hairs and crime in the corners , clearly not been cleaned properly for a very long time. Disgusting for the price you pay. Breakfast was very nice, we were looked after my Poshan, such an amazing and attentive lady, Poshan was the highlight of our stay. Bar service was very poor and stupidly expensive. We were also charged for 2 drinks we didn’t even order, again poor as the staff should have checked room number as someone clearly put 2 drinks on our room. I informed reception and they cleared this off our bill. I’d avoid at all costs , girls rip off , over £1200 for 3 nights!

This hotel is lovely. The newer modern rooms in the new part of the hotel are huge. Great outlook onto the golf course and woodlands. Very comfy. Large shower and bath.

Wonderful hotel with excellent spa facilities! Friendly, attentive staff, always willing to help. Ate in the new Terra restaurant and although food was very good, the menu was a little confusing as it didn't explain that the main courses were for 2 people. We ordered 2 of them and this far too much. One meal was mostly wasted which ( at these prices) was an expensive mistake.

Beautiful parkland and excellent room and facilities - we enjoyed the spa and gym too. The gym was well supplied with machines and weights. All the staff were friendly and helpful and catered for a number of special requests. A shame we were there on a Monday night when the Orangery restaurant was not open as we would like to have tried it. Would definitely recommend.
