I recently stayed at the Super 8 Hotel in Hampton, Virginia, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon check-in, I was required to pay a $20 deposit, which was said to be a hold and would be released 24 hours after check-out. However, it actually took about a week to get the deposit back. The room itself had several issues: there were bugs, only one set of towels, no trashcan, and no toiletries. The attendant was very rude and showed no empathy regarding our concerns. Additionally, not only was there a $20 charge, but extra keys cost $2 each. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to the poor conditions and lack of customer service.
