Hotel is pretty good, they only have poly fill pillows which are pretty lumpy and thick but the hotel is decent enough for business.

Week In Amsterdam
Visiting our son in Amsterdam. This was the perfect location as he works directly across the street at the International Theatre of Amsterdam. Formerly a Hard Rock property, there are some ongoing redesign projects but they don’t diminish from the hotels appeal. Leidseplein is a great spot to stay. Lively area but not as busy and noisy as the
Central Station and Dam Square locations.
Lots of good dining and entertainment options. Walkable to Vondelpark and the Museum Quarter. Tram stops right outside the entrance. We did however take some time getting into our room having requested an early check in. I understand there is no guarantee so I didn’t mark them down as a result. The front desk gave conflicting information on the availability and then advised that maintenance had an issue with the room. Ultimately moved into the room and had no problems with it throughout the stay.

Amazing Hotel
Wow. This was the first time for us in Amsterdam and wasn’t sure where to stay but we wanted to be close to the museum quarter and Leidesplien, and that’s why we chose this hotel- but let me tell you the next time we go back, I’ll be choosing this hotel not only for the location but for the excellent service from every single person we encountered at the property. And about the property- it is one of the most beautiful buildings right on the canal, with a wonderful bar (they had the best biterrballen in town) and we had morning coffee at the attached restaurant with a great view of the city square. Take a canal cruise which is located across the street from the hotel. I can not recommend this hotel enough

Hotel was great, had the standard room, which is a little small, recommend upgrading to larger. We too much to see. Balcony was looking at the fountain which was nice except that you smell everyone smoking below or in the adjacent balcony. Area is a little noisy, lot party people walking around but not offensive.

Big room with comfortable bed. Continental breakfast and friendly staff. It would have been great to have makeup mirror.
