The room was gigantic and really nice. The staff were great and very friendly. The only minus was that only one lift was working which meant it took ages to get to our room. We ended up taking the stairs which was not a problem except when we had to leave with all our luggage. But everything else was great.

Pretty lovely hotel. Great breakfast and 10 mins walking from Old Town and 10 mins in the other direction to the ferry terminal. Definitely benefits from being in one of the world's loveliest cities. The only note I would have is that the A/C in the family rooms, doesn't quite make it around the corner, so the room can get pretty hot in the summer season. Please don't let that affect you too much. I'm American and have an unrealistic expectation of what air conditioning is.

The main issue I had was that I had a Queen bed booked, but I was given a twin room. When I said this to the receptionist, she was not able to provide any solution and just accepted the fact that all Queen bedrooms were occupied. The manager wasn't around until after my stay, so this wasn't resolved and I am looking for compensation via Expedia.
