Positives - pleasant location. Room fine. Clean and tidy. Negatives- not as advertised. No bar, deli, swimming pool, garden, tables and chairs, or atmosphere. We discovered on arrival most facilities were closed because of change of ownership. So if you plan to stay soon, be warned…currently not what it says on the tin! A 5 mile drive for something to eat in the evening was the last thing we expected.

Sweeter than even Sauternes wine itself
A very good option to stay in the area. Besides the very warm welcome, Erik helped us secure a last-minute dining reservation in a nearby Chateau (excellent), and that was for a Monday night, when many local places stay closed! Very sweet, would happily return for a longer stay, when we get a chance

Great experience if the Sauternes town square
A great location in the center of the town square in Sauternes. Walk to a excellent restaurant Le Seprian and short drive to all the Sauternes tasting. The only disadvantage is one of the room do not have the toilet in-suite therefore have to exit the room to use the toilet. Otherwise a great host and ideal location to explore Sauternes and the french country.

Confort, calme, sympathie
Très bon séjour à Sauternes. Forcément trop court. Notre hôte à été aux petits soins pour nous. Piscine un peu fraîche à mon goût (28-29° 😁). Village calme et reposant. Étonnant quand on connaît sa notoriété. Ça me rappelle les petits village d'appellation Bourguignonne. Sur les conseils d'Isabelle, nous avons visité "la Petite Guingette" pour nous restaurer ce dimanche soir. Excellent concept! Le lendemain bon petit déjeuner en terrasse ombragée, croissants délicieux. Avec des confitures variées. Super!
