La Esmeralda is a perfect place to stay in San Juan. Our suite was clean and beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, hotplate, and coffee maker. The property is very safe and ideally located close to the beach and within walking distance of many coffee shops, restaurants, bars, stores, etc. The hosts were kind and responsive. I will definitely stay here again :)

Our trip was great, the property was clean and the instructions to get into the property and how to get the keys were very clear. The staff made sure to reach out to us and follow up on our stay. Their website is great they have everything you might need for your stay. Including dinning, shopping and tours. Will definitely stay there again.

We liked the location and privacy. Self check in and out was easy, convenient onsite parking and walking distance to beach. The beach towels were a nice touch. We would have liked more bath towels. There was only one set for the whole week. Another cereal bowl would have been nice too ( there was only one) and maybe replacing rusty dish drainer. No complaints, just an honest review. We recommend and would stay here again.

Nice location. About a 10 min drive from the airport. Less than a 5 min walk to the beach. Lots of eateries and stores within walking distance. I never felt unsafe walking the neighborhood. Rental was nice, clean & affordable. The only drawback was the neighbor’s dog barks sometimes. It’s not a constant thing but if people are highly sensitive, they might be bothered. Some of the locals drive crazy, but thats to be expected. Hardly anybody uses turn signals and some even take red lights. Use caution while driving in P.R. It has nothing to do with the property but just to give you a head’s up. The owner has amazing communication at lighting fast speed. I asked a question through text and received a response within 2 mins. I would stay at this place again if I come back to San Juan Overall grade: A

We arrived at one AM, directions to enter and get keys and park were clear and easy. Parking was only $5 a day. We had a one bedroom, living room area, kitchen area with cups, utensils. Had a little back are to sit if you wanted! When you come out walk two short blocks to a public beach, you can rent chairs and buy cheap delicious drinks from Ramon! Walkable to many local, reasonable places to eat. Had everything we needed! Definitely would stay again!

Nice older well maintained apartments. All gated so very secure. Plenty of towels and even beach towels. Walking distance to the beach and some very nice restaurants. Ask for off street parking!
