It started off rough but got so much better. I was not aware that I would need another $100 when I got there for a deposit, especially since they had told thru an email the day prior to our stay they needed my credit card info again in case of any damages which they had taken a small fee off of. The man at the front desk has no customer service skills what so ever . I was able to get my Aunt to PayPal me the $100 otherwise I would have had to forfeit the money I paid for the room. This was Christmas day. My son and I have had a horrible year losing both my Mom and my daughter ( his Grandmother and Sister) My son and I talked and decided instead of buying each other presents, we would get a hotel room for a few days because neither of us live somewhere that we can have company spend the night. I had paid for the room in advance. So we're trying to check in on Christmas and the man at the front desk says I need to pay a $100 deposit. I only had $42 left in my account and $20 cash on me. He said " and I said it's $100" I asked why they needed my card information yesterday on which they had charged a small fee , he didn't reply. I told him our situation and could he work with me at all since my paycheck would be direct deposited into my account the next day. He said nothing but just stared at me. I called my Aunt and she helped me.
The room was pretty and clean. Every other staff member I dealt with during our stay was wonderful. The free hit breakfast was GR8 !
