The staff at this hotel were all extremely nice and very helpful. The hotel was well maintained, the room was well stocked with complimentary water and various supplies and a free breakfast is available on the ground floor. We booked a "double" room, which meant two beds similar in size to an XL Twin pushed together, meaning essentially a King bed. The room was reasonably large and very clean. The location of this hotel absolutely cannot be beat. It's about a block from the main train station, which is convenient for both travel and finding food after hours or on Sunday. The AC was not as strong as we are used to in the US, so we had some warm nights, but the room did have operable windows as well. In all, we had a great stay and would strongly recommend the Hotel Savoy when staying in Bern.

Perfect.
Our stay at the Savoy, though short, was fantastic! The room was perfect for our needs, roomy enough for 3 adults and 1 teen to feel comfortable in the space and the rooftop patio was icing on the cake. A place to relax while others were getting ready or sleeping in. But to add to the icing was a complimentary, stocked minibar and fresh fruit in the kitchenette. The location couldn’t have been more convenient and the staff was super attentive to our needs (directions, recommendations, etc.). I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it it others. Thank you.

One Night in Bern - Great stay
We really enjoyed our stay here for our one day visit to Bern. We received the mobile passes which allowed us to take the transit system for the day. We dropped our bags off and the front desk person was gracious in suggesting a good day's itinerary. Excellent service. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We looked out over the street, but it was quiet for a Sunday. I liked the espresso coffee maker and the slippers. Great place to stay when you need to be close to the airport and downtown.

The hotel is in a perfect location! Walking distance from the train station, restaurants, shops and Old Towne. The staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions. The rooms were immaculate and the showerhead was so refreshing and relaxing, that after a long day of site seeing, it was difficult to get out! The free daily refill of bottled water, coffee and tea were icing on the cake. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
