my husband & I were travelling back to Adelaide and had a stop in Coonabarabran. We found the bed comfortable with crisp white sheets and pillowcases, (which I find important when staying in motel accommodation) The bathroom (newly renovated) very nice. all in all a very comfortable stay and good value.
is the crisp clean white sheets, pillowcases and towels.

If all you need is a clean bed and shower, then this is the place for you. Otherwise it was disappointing: pictures do not match rooms, no wifi connection in room, no kettle in room, broken microwave, very old dated furnishings/paint/etc. There are many other places to stay in town (many of which aren’t listed on Expedia) so I would suggest to look elsewhere unless all you need is a very utilitarian overnight option.

The area was attractive and well maintained, the room was comfortable - but the air-conditioner and microwave were about 1980 vintage and hardly functioned. There was no jug to boil water so used microwave to heat water, which was slow and inconvenient.

Bathroom was outdated compared to the room next to us. However, the rest of the room was tidy. Liked the supply of towels.

If this was a Deluxe Queen I wouldn’t like to see a Standard. The staff were friendly and the bed comfortable. The room was cold with a floating floor and no carpet resulting in a noisy heater having to be run all night. In addition to that the road noise from traffic and trucks went most of the night hence not much sleep.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was very clean
and room nice and clean. Not far to Visitor information Centre and short drive in to town. Just a 2 night stay but accidentally left key inside n second night and staff member was more than happy to open it for us,
Great base to see the Warrumbungles .

A VERY comfortable bed and pillows - rare to have both!
Great shower!
Could not hear the road noise at all!
Will definitely stay again when we pass through, or go for more stargazing!
