Worst hotel in South Africa
The worst hotel in South Africa for me. We arrived at 11:30am and upon check in I was told then room was not ready by Ms. Aneel. I was advised to pay extra to have early check in by the same lady. I told them I have a child and pregnant wife and this is unfair. I have never seen this in my 20 years of using hotels in 56 countries. I argued and threatened to complain and only then did they hand me a room without me having to pay extra. I booked a suite and the room was filthy. The tub had hair and the bathtub was not cleaned. The service in the hotel is terrible and they have no regards for customers. Please stay elsewhere.

Overcharged and receipt refused
At first I was enjoying my stay, until I went to check-out. The hotel sent me an email offering me an upgrade to a junior suite at a discounted rate which I accepted. Upon check-out, I asked for a copy of my receipt. I was denied with the reason that I had initially booked through Expedia. I checked my credit card statement only to find I had been charge a premium rate for the upgrade rather than the discount rate I had accepted. If I had been able to see my receipt upon check-out. I could have resolved the issue right then and there. As it is, I now feel I have been cheated and am no longer interested in staying at this hotel. It's too bad because I actually liked the hotel. But, if you can't trust it....

It was on ok stay i guess, we requestedvan iron on check in.Never arrived on the day.Then we ordered room service..The grilled chicken was terrible.Far from grilled, very bland, unspiced..definitely didnt enjoy it..left it after one bite.Ordered a side of mash, tasteless....just boiled potatoes, mashed and water added to it...no salt, no butter, no milk..awful. The room didnt have a proper shower, but a bath shower,didnt see this on the pics.Prefer a proper shower. The iron was requested again and arrived after a very very long time. Requested a ported tool forever and we had to get the shuttle so had to take the bags on our own. So all in all not a well rounded happy experience.Could have been much better.

Nice hotel!
Although we only stayed one night, we enjoyed our stay and our meal at the hotel restaurant. However, we were disappointed that the breakfast discount deal we had accepted through Hotels.com did not transfer to the hotel reservation so we were not able to enjoy it.
