Needs some money spent on it
Obviously used to be a nice hotel in its day. But to see leaking roofs dripping into buckets on stairways is a big let down. The room itself looks dated and tired and could do with updating. The hairdryer didn't work despite having a sticker on it saying it had been tested recently. The overflow cover in the sink was hanging off. Dirty stains on the net curtains covering the windows. Dirt under the bed that had clearly been there for a while. The restaurant service in the evening was very good, and the food was also good. Breakfast was also quite good. But overall, it was a bit of a let down from a big-name brand. I expected better from a Mercure.

Nice staff lousy hotel.
The hotel is cold, damp, it smells and is in urgent need of refurbishment. The roof leaks. This was my first and last stay in the hotel. From my understanding the hotel used to be immaculate , but its no where near that level now. Avoid it .
