From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. Our room was beautiful, clean & everything we needed, tea & coffee were provided along with bottles of water. We ate in the restaurant that night and our meals were great, I had homemade curry, hubby had pie. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place to stay, we will return.

We had a great two night stay at The Wheatsheaf in West Beckham. A quiet, clean and very comfortable room. Lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to choose from. The cooked breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and all freshly cooked for you. We also ate at the pub in the evening, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the cocktails. Check in was easy. The staff were really lovely and could not have be more friendly, welcoming or attentive.

Brilliant stay

Comfy room, staff friendly and helpful , the food was excellent. We stayed 2 nights the only thing was you had a cooked breakfast on a sunday but continental on a monday. The room didnot have house keeping but to be fair it is only making the bed .

Warm and welcoming hotel...excellent!

A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Neil and Heather

Our stay at the Wheatsheaf

We have had a lovely stay at the Wheatsheaf. The room was perfectly located and equiped with everything we needed. Although, it was cold when we first arrived it soon warmed up. The toilet/water system was very noisy but there was always hot water. The beds were very comfy and provided us with a lovely night's rest.

Amazing stay

From check in to check out our visit was faultless. Our room was spacious and well equipped,it was spotlessly clean and all decor was of a high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful,we unfortunately only got the name of one staff member and that was Teresa who was very attentive and gave us tips as to where to visit.The restaurant was extremely busy and food took quite a while to arrive but this really wasn't a problem as the atmosphere was lovely and we were offered drinks at our table. Breakfast was amazing,hot and tasty. We would normally stay in a hotel rather than an Inn or pub but am so pleased we took the plunge and tried something a little different.Well fine to all involved both fronts of house and behind the scenes....don't change anything...we will definitely be seeing you again

Clean, spacious room, really comfy bed, huge fluffy bath sheet towels. Only slight gripe is there is only one plug socket in a really unhelpful place, far from the bedside. And if I was being really picky... The lighting in the room isn't great! Helpful staff, good breakfast - Would stay here again!
