I have tried several hotels over the past couple of years at Waco, my children attend Baylor University, and I have to say that this hotel has been a life changer for me. We stayed at this hotel for one night. It seemed very new and had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. It's right next to the Silos and in a walkable neighborhood with lots of dining options.

Fast check-in, clean room, comfy bed. Parking was only $12/day, which is good compared to other places on this trip. Pool was nice, breakfast buffet ($16) was really good. Only issue was getting in and out of the parkade. Each time we pressed the help button and they opened the gate for us. Easy walk to lots of restaurants, the silos and the Dr. Pepper museum.
