Charming
The hotel was charming. Great little town with local restaurants, shops and walkable to water and easy parking. Loved the coffee station in the hall. Would recommend this hotel. Town reminded us of town from "Gilmore Girls". Easy communications re: codes to enter, check in and out.

Wonderful
Found this gem of an inn by chance and it so exceeded our expectations - the room was larger than it looked in the picture and had everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable bed too. A quaint little town with several walkable dinner options. Safe and quiet. Marie, the innkeeper could not have been nicer. If we ever pass through the area I would stay here again for sure! Highly recommend.

8/10 Very good

Room was nice and clean. Easy self check in. The only negative was that you could hear and feel every step someone made in the hallway from our bed. There was also party going on under us at the restaurant so there was loud music and noise until around 11.

Historical meets modern
It was my first time visiting the finger lakes region and staying at a historical inn. The Park Inn was a lovely, charming inn to stay. I appreciated the cleanliness and the self-check in/out option. The room was a modernized but kept remnants of its original structure and layout. The modern glass shower was very clean and nice. I truly appreciated the decor as well as it paints a picture of its history. I would highly recommend staying if you visit this region.

4/10 Fair

No staff on site. They supply a vide to get into the building and your room. The code was not correct so we were locked out of our Room and had to wait 40 minutes for a call back. Unfortunately this fouled up our schedule. Someone should have been able to fix the code but it wasn’t available at check in time. The room appeared to be freshly painted and was neat and clean. Lovely shower. Location was convenient.

Very nice, old inn (well-updated). Super-convenient location. Quaint village with a few good dining options and about 20-30 minutes from Watkins Glen.

Perfect . . .if you like this type of accomodation
Start at the beginning: this is an old historic inn, not a modern all-new hotel. There are compromises: no elevators, only five rooms. Every board creaks and you can hear other people as they come and go. BUT! It is a wonderful, warm and inviting throwback to inns as they were a century or more ago. We loved it, despite the drawbacks. Nice sized rooms, very comfy bed, an ideal location in the town of Hammondsport, which is a great slice of Americana in the heart of wine country, with the most famous of the Finger Lakes wineries just a few minutes away. It sits right on the lovely town square, with breakfast/ice cream shop, gift shops, three or more good restaurants, pharmacy, liquor/wine shop and Irish pub all within a slow two minute walk. For us, 5.0 out of 5.0, but for others maybe not so much. If you need your modern amenities, better try elsewhere.

Absolutely beautiful and well-run boutique property that was super comfortable. Gourmet restaurant below rooms, great breakfast place next door (ice cream parlor open 7:00 am to 9:00 pm) and in-house winery on the mountain above Dr. Konstantin Frank Vineyards. All owned and run by the same excellent, accommodating team. Plenty of parking and you can walk everywhere in 5 min., including to the lakeside park and beach. Full-line grocery store 1/2 block away. Burgers and beer place next door, two excellent bar/diner/grills within a block, if you don’t want gourmet pretensions. Beautiful park in front of your windows.
