I never received an email 24 hours before so luckily I called on how to get my keys. Property is older but is right on the beach which is nice. Not much in the area but it is quiet.

Makaha stay
Perfect location close to family. The unit was very nice the view perfect. Too bad we couldn’t use with our timeshare weeks.

Wonderful beach with few people. Slower pace this side of island. Very nice unit: up to date, clean, gorgeous view. Well designed resort. All units face the ocean. Our balcony was awesome. Food choices limited. But everything that mattered was excellent.

The condo was great, clean and the view was breathtaking. Unfortunately the area away from the resort was riddled with homeless but I never felt threatened or unsafe.

2/10 Poor

The view and sand its perfect but is not for little kids. There is better places. First of all its very far from airport. few local stores near by. Well let me start by telling you that i pay good amount of money to expidia to stay here, to be honest don't waste your money, don’t use expidia because they have no idea of what you getting you into, im forsure not using expidia again. This was the worse place to stay i been i many hotels and staff are friendly and polite. At checking they just check us in and no explanation of how property works, i should of have research the place before checking in to this place, this is not even a resort like they advertise online, i would probably give them a 2 stars review. This is more like timeshare place which it sucks. Be prepared to wash your own clothes, towel and clean the apartment . The hk lady was like we can't provide more towels what you have in the room its all you get she said 🙄 Same for soap and beach towels. This end up being more inconvenient for us since the only thing we wanted was to sleep at the end of the day. Then on top of that somebody scratched our rental car. At check out they don’t even ask how your stay was or anything. To be honest i was mentally prepared for that. Customer service sucks, the only good and friendly people in this property its the maintenance team. Expida please don't lie to your clients This was the worse hotel to stay.

From check-in to departure, this was a fabulous place to stay. Our lanai stepped right out onto the sand. The one bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and offered a small full kitchen, washer and dryer, full bath with a tub, large spacious closet with plenty of hanger in the bedroom, comfortable seating in the living room and patio furniture. We were fully equipped for our 9 night stay! Onsite security 24hrs that was friendly and approachable. Pool and hottub, rec room with pingpong table Every need was met. The staff was kind and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place. It is located in a more residential area of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Short 20 minute drive to shopping and a movie theater.

We loved staying at the Hawaiian Princess. It was clean and the staff were nice. Parking was easy and has a gated fence with security 24/7. I wish we would have stayed longer but we will be back. Mākaha Beach was beautiful with stunning views and a gorgeous sunset. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay outside of Honolulu, west of Oahu I definitely recommend.

We loved staying here. The hotel is quiet and with it being so near the beach we always had an option to go swimming or just to relax by the beach. It was like a home away from home. I will definitely go back to stay here if we come back to hawaii.

There is homless camp next to it that is around the view of the mountain in the picture and just about every beach on the island. High crime areas everywhere you go.

Okay, we left early and went back to Waikiki.
Hotel was okay. View was great! Area around hotel is quiet with not many places to eat. Lots of homeless camps in the area. You can’t drive to the north shore from the hotel without going back to Honolulu.

Properly is good condition and great view. I love it. Only problem is that homeless was a front of property in beach side so we cannot play in the morning a front of our beach.

Upon arrival, we were required to pay additional fees beyond what was paid-in-full. The attendant explained they recently changed their fees and the property and Expedia have not communicated this to their customers. She also mentioned we were not the first guest to complain about the same issue. What choice did we have at that point, we had already flown in from the Mainland? I sent an email to Expedia, but have not received any follow-up. Also, many tent towns around the area, but for the most part they stayed to themselves.

I loved this timeshare! Eventhough we don't pay into the timeshare, its nice that we were able to pay and stay for an entire week. The staff, residents and other occupants were very friendly and welcoming. I loved that this condo and all the condo's in this building has an ocean view and the beach was private, so the beach was never over crowded. The condo was very clean and the bed & sleeper couch was very comfotable. The only thing that I wish I knew before getting there was what floor we would be located on. We were on the 10th floor and although the views were amazing, since I am extremely afraid of heights, the balacony from the elevator to the suite was not ideal for me. I had an anxiety attacked each time I had to leave or go to the room because of the high view; however, other than that - everything was perfect!! I will go and stay at the Hawaiin Princess again! Perferable on a lower floor though :).
