Fantastic stay - we recommend this place

We had a fantastic time staying here. We appreciated the great service from reception with lots of useful, helpful advice and the beds were very comfortable. We had the hotel breakfast twice also while we were there. We stayed in a family room which are right by the stairwell, which meant we could hear people going up and down the stairs. This wasn’t too much of an issue for us mostly as it was up and until about 20:30-21:30 where we are still awake anyway. The aircon noise also drowns out most of that sound anyway. (It seemed the other rooms had a glass door separating the stairwell from their hallway) The main benefit of the family room was having a separate room for our children, with the bathroom being in the middle, (and small shared hallway) then a parents bedroom. There was also a TV in each room.

Location was perfect, close to the old town, train station and trams. Host was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel Aria was immaculate and we loved everything about our stay. We will definitely come back!

It was okay except breakfast!

The hotel location is manageable. 10 minutes walk to the main street and 6 min walk to train station. A little bit far from old town and beaches. Rooms have small balconies, park view from the room. Weak breakfast,not fresh products. there were stale nuts infested with bugs.

Good no frills hotel with a good location

Nice clean room that seems to have been recently renovated. A comfortable bed on the hard side. Working and silent fridge in the room. Air condition in the room. Nice and helpful staff the few times I interacted with them. Stable wifi with good speed. No frills place but all was good. The location is great. To the north there is the railway station. To the east the red tram line. To the south the blue tram (that goes to the airport). Plenty of small shops, bakeries and breakfast places around. The only negative is the noise insolation, or lack thereof. You can hear everything in the corridor since there are gaps under the door. Could also hear pretty well from the room beside mine. How much that affects you depends on how light a sleeper you are and what other guest are staying at the hotel at the time. I put earplugs in my ears every night and slept very well so it was not a problem for me.

This is a great mid-range hotel. The building is a little older, but it is decorated with style and character. The rooms are simple, but clean, offering all that you need for a good nights rest. The location is great, being only 5 minutes from the main train station and less than 10 minutes from the beach.

Low key hotel in a quiet neighborhood

This quaint hotel is in a quiet area but still walkable to the more commercial areas (10-20 min walk depending on where in Nice you are going). All the front desk staff I interacted with were so friendly and helpful. The elevator was not working the first half of my stay but was fixed within a few days. I did not take part in the hotel breakfast but the dining room is cute and they supply empty carafes in case you want to take water up to your room. One downside is that the soundproofing between rooms is not great. I was there during the slow season so the hotel wasn't full but I could definitely hear conversations from other rooms.
