Great Start to a Multi-Country Trip

Although it is an older property, it is well maintained and clean. The staff is extremely helpful and the food was great! In fact, the food was so good, service personable and prices reasonable, we ended up eating every meal there, except one. It is a ways from Nadi airport but worth the travel, with their shuttle (actually a taxi). Check out the fire walkers (surprisingly it included a kava ceremony) at the Outrigger Hotel or culture center.

The food was amazing and the beach across the street was lovely. we found the prices were quite steep, however, this seems par for the course in the area. Overall, a wonderful stay. Vinaka!

Good hotel with FANTASTIC restaurant!

A nondescript little hotel with spacious clean rooms with great staff and an outstanding restaurant. Rooms have AC. Decent snorkeling (only at high tide, otherwise too shallow)- not a lot of healthy corals but quite a few fish that are fun to watch. Try not to get freaked out by all the snake sea cucumbers at the start, they can't move fast and are just filter feeders. Do day trips to the Sigatoka Sand Dunes and Naidiri marine biodiversity park (https://naidirimarinebiopark.org).
The coconut lime curry chicken is out of this world!
