It is a great location. Parking is difficult, almost impossible. Great staff. Old historical hotel. AC is loud, hard to sleep when it is running. Price is very good. I can stay again.

For its money I guess hotel Joli is OK and the staff have the traditional Sicilian hospitality. BUT avoid the rooms in the ground/first floor at all costs! They should be suitable only for renting by the hour!!!!! And the price is the same for all their rooms… also if you travelling from far, ask for a room towards the back or you won’t sleep at all. The hotel is next to a local court house.

The bedroom was very nicely decorated with antique furniture. The ceiling was decorated in an unbelievable manner suitable for a cathedral. It was gorgeous. However. The bed was as hard as concrete. The pillows were as thin as towels. The bathroom was so tiny it was virtually unusable. Breakfast was meager. The elevator was completely ridiculous. I couldn't wait to leave this hotel.

It was ok but you can tell they refilled the soap bottles in the room with soap mixed with water, and the pillow were falling into pieces. The breakfast didn’t have much savoury (no eggs for example), very low quality bread and on Monday no fruit because “they don’t deliver it on sunday”. I mean it’s not that you are placed in the middle of nowhere. If they don’t deliver on su day go to a supermarket and buy some!

Good location
We had a delayed flight and arrived late, the reception was not very friendly or informative. We had 2 small rooms one had no working aircon. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of sweet options. The best thing about this hotel was its location

Not sure about value for money. Just ok
We were a bit disappointed by this hotel. We were thinking to stay in a old but charming hotel. In the end if wasn't the best experience. it was the most expensive hotel we had in Sicily and really not the best.
1. Bathroom : Big NO for us. As mentioned by other guest on Google review the bathroom is really small and outdated. Our shower head did not work properly, it did oblige us to get closer and closer to the wall. The bathroom need to be completely refurbished. Some part of the tiles were started to mold. However the water is really warm if it is what you like.
2. Our room was on a ground floor. With really bad isolation. Near a loud restaurant and street. Also near the reception. Other guest wasnt happy about his room situation ( which we understood). But on 4 night stayed we only slept properly once. We live in Mexico city not a village and we are used to the noise normally. Maybe with another room it would have been better.
3. Furnitures in the room : a refregirador was one of the bed table of the bed. We thought it was a bit weird but ok why not. Unfortunately it did not even work. Cupboard smelled bad.
4. Cleaning was done daily and really well. Big plus for the property
5. The location of the hotel is not so bad. Walking distance to the main streets if you don't mind walking 10 to 20 mins. 25/30 min to reach the train station walking.
6. The staff is nice, we did not speak much with them.
Overall : its ok, but disappointed

The staff were very responsive when I asked for a different room due to it being very hot in the 4th floor room I was assigned. The front desk immediately changed my room to an empty first floor room. The area around the hotel is great, very accessible to everything you need and fairly quiet for Italy!

Hundred year old hotel boutique hotel in classy Politeama-Liberta district just N of the Via della Liberta and 1 km W of historic center. Surrounded by sidewalk cafes and bars. Within 15-30 min walk of two great theaters, markets, cathedral, many other sights. Close to buses (to beach!), bike and car rental. Serviceable room fridge, cramped shower. Generous breakfast buffet including cappuccinos buffet included in price.
