Had a lovely stay. Team were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Free snack 16 00-17.00 wity coffee or tea was a lovely touch. There was a reindeer outside our window most days, which was beautiful to see. Bed very comfy and great shower.

Loved it. Great staff; great location - probably the best hotel one can stay with superb breakfast and beautiful views. My daughter forgot her bag just when we arrived at the airport - I called the hotel and immediately they sent a staff with ny daughters bag and declined compensation. What and excellent service. We had such an amazing time at Funken, the staff were so helpful. Being a short walk out of Longyearbyen was perfect for us to see the rest of the town and the stunning surroundings. We stayed for 6 days and loved every bit of it! We are already planning on returning February 2026. Only suggestion would be to add variety to the breakfast, buffet was small and didnt change during our stay. But this hasnt stopped us refurning.

Hotel quiet and clean. At breakfast they always ask for room number, however all people have breakfast included. No plant milk, no herring which I hoped for. Always the same options, no whole fruit. At sauna only one glass with water jug.
