Very agreeable surprise!

It was a last minute decision to stay one more night on Fanoe, and we will never regret to have tried Hotel Fanoe! Very clean, cozy, welcoming, easygoing, plenty of living room style areas, a wonderful breakfast buffet - all in all a very positive surprise! I would stay there again!

The bed sheet was too small... You could see the mattress directly, which had partial stains. On the room mirror, sticky snot from the predecessor could still be seen.

Jeg var i kontakt med hotellet inden ankomst, og det var meget behageligt at vide at man var ventet, og at vi bare kunne checke ind når vi ville. Vi ankom desværre til et iskoldt værelse, som da vi kom retur var ret fugtigt, efter ikke at have været opvarmet længe. Sengene var ok. Badeværelset var decideret ulækkert, med mug og skimmel på badeforhæng og i hjørnerne. Skraberen til fliserne har man slet ikke lyst til at røre. At kalde det et hotel er noget af en tilsnigelse - det minder mere om et gammelt og slidt vandrerhjem. Det er absolut ikke de 950 kr. værd som vi betalte.

De vidste ikke vi kom.

Ankom til et tomt hotel, men nøglen lå som aftalt. Vi havde bestilt morgenmad og modtog bekræftelses mail herpå. Næste morgen blev ringer telefonen klokken 08:00, men når den ikke da vi sover. Modtager efterfølgende en SMS fra hotellet “ville bare høre om alt var ok?” Vi kommer ned til en tom morgenmadsrestaurent og kunne fortsat ikke finde noget personale på hotellet. Ringer til hotellet som siger at de ikke var klar over at vi var der, de var også overraskede over at værelset var klar og der var ingen morgenmad og det kunne ikke laves, da personalet havde fri.

Standard dobbeltværelse er lille og snævert. Bad meget snævert. Og der er ikke en kuffertplads. Værelset er ret slidt i forhold til prisen på en overnatning. F.eks. mangler døre på garderobeskabene og maling er slidt af flere steder. Min vurdering er at prisen højest burde være 600 kr. Pr nat, men vi betalte 950 kr uden morgenmad.
