When I booked this with Expedia the description had a bar, a restaurant, room service,a sauna. None of these were present or available at the hotel. I was greeted with a receptionist who didn’t speak English. The door to the balcony didn’t lock. False description on Expedia who gave it 10 out of 10. Would like compensated in some way.

Loved it for an overnight stay. Available to check in when arriving in the early hours. Breakfast was full Turkish with eggs, tea, cakes and cheese, very tasty. We had a 4 person family accommodation which is actually two bedrooms (A Double and 2 single beds) sharing a bathroom, ideal for a family. You can walk in the heat to town downhill in about 20 mins or take a TL100 (£3) taxi ride. Contact with the hotel thro Expedia email was always answered promptly.

The family room was very spacious and clean. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Gocek marina/main street. 45 L in taxi. Dalaman airport to hotel approx 500 L (25 minute drive). Hotel manager and staff are very pleasant and helpful.

The cleanliness of my room was great! The hotel is also located in a very quiet area, which is on the top of a hill pretty much. If you are interested in going to the marina, it will be quite challenging, especially in the night time.

We stayed in for 1 night. We booked a flight back to the UK, but there was no COVID PCR test arrangements in the hotel or nearby the hotel location. Breakfast freshly made and delicious. Room was a good size and comfy bed, but no blackout curtains. Pool is very nice. Hotel location in the mountains. The hotel is 2km far from city centre, requires a car/ taxi to go to Gocek marina. Receptionist not always there. There is a small restaurant with limited food options.

Overall experience was good, ALYA HOTEL is suitable for families and singles as you can have everything you may need in term of activities and transportation, also there is a playground for kids beside the hotel with free access, it has a nice swimming pool and it is around 1.8km away from Göcek Marina and souk, you can walk between the olive trees and cactus to reach the Marina.

Loved the pool. Nice modern bathroom and good sized rooms. Breakfast was standard for hotels in Turkey.The price was excellent and we were amazed at the standard for the price.Our only complaint was that they had lots of chickens in the pool side. Horrible to walk around in chicken poo and of course the cockerel started at 4.30am
