Very good location, literally a minute away from the train station and to a bunch of buses and restaurants and bars. Hotel itself was good. I can't really find any faults to it.

Rooms are very small with the bathroom separated by a thin glass wall so you can hear any toilet noise from the room. But the hotel is in a very convenient location, just by the train station and easily walkable to many restaurants, museums and parks.

The breakfast was poor for the price. Things were not kept well and flies were all over the bread. My room was very dusty and aggravated my allergies. The carpet needed cleaning.

Det var en fin overnatning, min datter og jeg var i Århus, fordi vi skulle til koncert og ja de derfor booket værelset. Alt i alt er det fint, det eneste var dog, at om morgenen, låser rengøring sig ind, uden at banke på. Det er sådan lidt en øv oplevelse, at der ikke er styr på, hvem der er rejst og ikke er. Kl var ca 9.30..

Fint og moderne hotel

Rigtig godt og moderne hotel. Serviceminded personale. Gode værelser, men da glassetvæggen til badeværelset er næsten gennemsigtig, så skal man kende hinanden ret godt, inden man sætter sig og laver “nr. 2”. Parkering foregår fint i Bruuns Galleris parkeringskælder, hvor man får rabat som gæst på hotellet.

Pris og kvalitet hænger ofte sammen, men ved WakeUp får man en god kvalitet til en yderst fornuftig pris. Værelset er ikke så stort, men der er hvad man har brug for. Personalet var flinke, smilende og serviceorienterede.

At check in we were met by a very unfriendly and impatient receptionist. Next morning the staff was much nicer. Rooms are tiny and you need to pay extra for a baby crib (which we didn't have to last time). Breakfast was way too expensive for the variety served. Mostly just regular bread and a small variety of spreads, and eggs. One type of cake, and a croissant. No milk alternatives, no glutenfri or lactosefri alternatives. No interesting fruits or warm dishes. Overall much less impressive breakfast than any other hotel we have stayed in. And definitely overpriced. Very expensive parking too.
