We loved our stay at The Outrider. We were dropping our son off at Bible College in Woodland Park. The location was central and perfect between Colorado Springs and Woodland Park. Lots of site seeing very close by. The space was perfect with a couch and a king size bed. Our son was comfortably able to stay with us. The staff was informative, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub and our son enjoyed trying the cold plunge and sauna.

We rented one of the hotel's King Suites and it exceeded our expectations. The room was large with big windows and a large leather couch. It had a wonderful view of Pikes Peak and the Manitou Incline and was on the main drag, just a few blocks from all the attractions of downtown. The hot tub was large and made of cedar, and we really enjoyed it. Perhaps best of all was the staff. They were all wonderful, and we especially appreciated Servando for carying our cooler up two flights of stairs to our room.

I would use this property again Great location. Clean property. I would travel again. The only issue was , we booked a “ Mountain View “ room at a small extra price. However the room they put us in, had a sun shade down covering the entire window. It was broke not working, thus down. So we had no Mountain View . I am still waiting for a refund for the difference of the extra cost? The hotel was advised of the issue, and they said they would correct, but never did. I assume they will make me whole. Despite this , I strongly recommend the property. Also the loop area was nice and cozy !!
