Upon arrival staff informed us that though the room was prepaid Hotels.com does not pay the property. The owner gave the staff orders to collect local payment. We complied and paid with the owner's word that he cancelled the Hotels.com reservation. We waited for a hotels.com email but received none. We checked out after a sleepless night due to 3 bed bugs discovered at about 1 a.m. Upon vacating the next morning, the owner assured us of repayment for the one night we did not use by TUESDAY (tomorrow). Hotels.com does not give an option for information about this..Also the property claims to have 13 swimming pools but had only 1.
