Disappointing value for the price.
I booked this unit for a 5-night stay in Boston specifically because of the apartment layout and the in-unit washer and dryer. Having laundry on site was the main reason I chose this place over other options.
Unfortunately, the washer/dryer didn't work. When I first tried to use it, the machine wouldn't power on. I checked the breaker and found it switched off. After I turned it back on, the machine still wouldn't run a cycle and showed multiple error codes.
When I contacted management, they responded quickly, apologized, and suggested I use the laundromat across the street, offering to reimburse the cost. I appreciate the quick reply, but it didn't solve the problem. The whole point of booking this unit was to avoid hauling laundry somewhere else, and no other adjustment was offered for losing a feature I paid a premium for.
Finding the breaker already switched off made me wonder whether the issue was known before my arrival. If so, guests should be told before check-in, not after.
The layout itself was as advertised, but at this price, the amenities need to work. If in-unit laundry matters to you, confirm it's working before you book.
