The staff was friendly and the rooms were fine. Travels should know that the hotel is a renovated floor in an old building right off a roundabout in a very urban area of the city. As long as you’re comfortable with location the accommodations itself is fine and the staff was very nice.

I didn’t understand the black front key pad. I wasn’t used to that style. Thus when entering the elevator I couldn’t understand why the 6th floor button wouldn’t work. A bit hard to find when trying to follow IPhone maps. Was surprised the entrance was in between seats for an outdoor eatery:-). The young man at the counter was very professional. A rarity in America. The young adults of Greece are hard workers.

The 6th floor of the building where the “hotel” is located on was very nice, great air conditioning, very clean. Very friendly staff when they were there. The location was very close to metro but walking around the area was sketchy sketchy. We could see homeless, and people who were clearly into drugs. For this reason only, I think would not book a hotel in this area again.

We booked this place based mainly on the price and location without knowing exactly where it was and based on a few photos. It was only for acclimation preceding a cruise so the lack of pool, gym, breakfast, or business center did not really bother us. If you need those sort of amenities, look elsewhere. The WiFi was very good and it has a 55” smart TV. once we figured out how the elevator worked, it made us feel secure. A Hop On Hop Off tour bus stop and a Metro stop is across the street. Many restaurants are close by. The site manager was very helpful especially covering some clothes we accidentally left behind and explaining the Hop On Hop Off tour we used both days and for transport to the cruise terminal. The room was very nice, large, high ceilings. It is only the 6th floor of a former apartment house. Renovation of lower floors is in progress. There was a step down which was unexpected and caused a fall on first night. Luckily, no lasting damage. Was not familiar with the coffeemaker and the directions on how to use were not good. It made only espresso sized servings. If you are not familiar with it, it is hard to find as the only sign is on the building on the 6th floor. Local restaurants and shops did not know it existed. While it is above the Metro stop direction from either exit we’re not given. All things considered, for our purposes, we would give it a 4.5 star.

This is a relatively new Hotel located on the 6th floor of a commercial building. The staff are outstanding - helpful and attentive (beyond excellent) rooms are well appointed with coffee making facilities - complimentary slippers are a nice touch. very comfortable bed and aircon that actually works. very local metro station but Athens sight seeing usually a 30min walk to everywhere. again compliments to the staff and management. It shocks me when a solo traveller is not treated as a second class citizen - I recommend absolutely

We were scrambling for a room and my husband and son came across Elevate Athens. We needed something in just a couple of hours. Communication was done through WhatsApp and it went smoothly. We received directions for the hotel and also PDF files for nearby restaurants and other necessities which was invaluable. The hotel was located on the 6th floor of the building and when we stepped off the elevator, it was clean, bright and felt safe. The room was clean and modern. The basic necessities were available which was all we were wanting. Price was our main consideration. The downtown location was steps from the Metro (subway) which was exactly what we needed to be able to get to tourist sights - a driving factor for choosing this hotel. Being that close to the Metro was important to get us from the ferry and to the airport when our stay was over. We only stayed for 2 days but we would have been happy to stay longer. I would highly recommend Elevate Athens.

Great hotel for our 4 day visit to Athens. Rooms are modern, clean, spacious. Tony, the concierge was the best! Gave us help information, dining options, provided assistance with bags and procuring transport. He was kind, friendly, and made our stay comfortable and special. He upgraded us to superior rooms with impressive views of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The hotel is very clean - staff could always be found cleaning something . The room price was a bargain. Though the area appears a bit sketchy, we never felt unsafe walking around though we werent out later than 10pm. Metro is feet away so you can get everywhere quickly. Eating spots, cafes, good restaurants nearby as well as a fabulous artsy area with fabulous building murals.would sefinitely stay here again.

Excellent location close to restaurants, train, and tour busses. 1 hour train ride from ATH airport. Great communication from hotel. Access code to our room sent via email; no check-in process. Building is older but rooms are updated and bedding comfortable. Terrific shower!
