Great potential – just needs a few finishing touch

We stayed at The Editory by the Sea Lagos and really liked it. It’s a beautiful new hotel with very friendly staff and excellent service throughout. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the location is ideal. That said, a few details still need attention—like fixing the air conditioning, ensuring towels and water are available in the gym. It’s a great hotel with lots of promise, and we’re confident they’ll get everything in place soon. Would definitely come back!

Stunning hotel, highly recommend

Lovely modern hotel which was just perfect. Room was stunning with a lovely view over the pool which has an amazing array of cabana style beds and loungers to choose from. Breakfast was fantastic and the hotel bar was beautiful and welcoming on an evening. Location wise this hotel is stuck out a little on its own, it’s approx a 20 min walk into Lagos which we were ok with but it is in close proximity to the beaches and Ponte de Piedade which is just beautiful. We did have a car which made it a little easier to get around but could manage without. We managed to get parked easily in the street as well which was a bonus.

Absolutely fantastic

What a fantastic hotel. We stayed here for three nights. The hotel is brand new. Large and beautiful pool area. Indoor pool. Good food in the restaurant. Nice rooms. Good service. What more could you ask for? The hotel is highly recommended.

Nice hotel but room for improvements

We had a nice stay at the hotel, it’s new and big. Good room with a nice view. However there is some room for improvement for the hotel. We experienced several times that the housekeeper didn’t remove used glasses from our room, or replaced used towels. They also took one of our robes when we were two in the room. We tried ordering room service one night by calling the front desk but no one answered so we had to go down to the reception area to order food. The restrooms on the ground floor in the bar area were at times quite dirty.

Great stay!

Wonderful time at Editory by the Sea. Within walking distance to old Lagos. Two main beaches within a ten minute walk. It’s a beautiful resort style place with an outdoor and indoor pool. It is brand new, so there is some things they are working through. Staff were wonderful and all spoke English. The included breakfast was great, large buffet. They have a bar outside that serves food during the day. At night they have a set meal at the restaurant you can purchase. Close out the night with a nightcap at the bar in the lobby area. Would 10/10 stay here again!

I stayed for 5 nights, I got there when they had just opened, everything is new. The staff were lovely. The hotel is about 7-9 minutes walk to Paris Dona, you can walk to town in 20 minutes. There is an indoor pool with sauna and steam room as well as a large out door pool. There was a buffet breakfast which had a good selection, only issue is the hot food was cold. The rooms are rapacious with fluffy bath robes, safe and fridge. You can request to have you breakfast in your room as well. Overall I will be coming back due to how affordable the hotel is and how close it is to everything.

Väldigt nöjda

Hotellet var väldigt fräscht och det märktes att det var nybyggt. All personal var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Bra frukost med omelett station, mimosa, stort utbud av frukt och bröd, pålägg, yoghurt etc. Kaffemaskinen höll inte måttet då det var med pulverkaffe. Fräscht poolområde med bra solbäddar och tillgång till poolhanddukar varje dag, dock var poolen väldigt kall. Rummet var fint inredd och inte alls lyhört, dock var sängen för hård för vår smak. Bra städning varje dag. Vi gillade läget då det var nära till flera fina stränder och natur, endast 12 minuter gång till gamla stan. Gymmet var litet och hade behövt bättre luftkonditionering och bättre påfyllning med vatten. Överlag var vi väldigt nöjda med hotellupplevelsen och skulle rekommendera detta hotell, främst då det var väldigt fräscht, fina ytor och som sagt var personalen 10/10.

Pent, fint, nytt og delikat hotell. Bra renhold på rommene. Gode senger, dyner og puter. Noe forbedringspotensiale på detaljer. Det trengs en lite bord på balkongen, og noe å tørke strandhåndklær og klær på. Og litt bedre flyt i baren ved bassenget. Men ikke noe som ødela oppholdet. Vennlige, blide og serviceinnstilte ansatte. Passe avstand til sentrum. Rolige omgivelser. Helt rolig på natten, som jeg ser på som et stor pluss.

O hotel é novo,as roupas de camas são exelelentes porém reservamos um triplo.So que asuite é muito pequena para abrir o sofá cama,Não tem espaço o quarto.Nao deviam reservar para triplo.O serviço de arrumação do quarto foi pessimo naarrumação do quarto. No dia da chegada do tinha. 2 toalhas de banho solicitamos por mais 3 X e a tolha foi entregue 3 horas depois, O nosso quarto quando retornamos do passeio às 16:00 nao estava arrumado ainda as 16:00 E por fim s camareira arrumou as camas como demonstra as fotos abaixo .
