Good hotel
The hotel is within a reasonable walking distance of Yodoyabashi metro exit 8 and is in the business area. The hotel was reasonably modern with a large coffee lounge where you can obtain free coffee and other drinks. I knew when I booked the semi double room that it would be small and it was very cosy but this is my fault not the hotels. However my wife and myself still managed for two nights, the room was also well equipped. I would recommend if there is two of you getting a larger room as the semi double is really only designed for 1 person. The breakfast is typically Japanese and has an excellent selection, we enjoyed it very much. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and happy to help. Around the hotel there are a selection of reasonably priced restaurants and the more expensive ones tend to shut at the weekend.
Would I stay at this hotel again DEFINITELY
Would I stay in the same room, probably not I would get a larger one za

The room I stayed was spacious and very clean. Access to the nearest subway station is about 5 minutes on foot and not bad. Breakfast buffet is very standard but the room is very crowded and this was the only thing I didn’t feel comfortable.

Mitsui Garden pros & cons
Best parts were the breakfast buffet and the bathroom. The room itself was very tight considering the price but the value for your money for the buffet was excellent. For this type of roomI would say the bathroom was comfortable and the shower was really good.

Nice centrally located hotel
We were here to mainly experience Osaka (we'd been to Kyoto in a prior trip) so this hotel was well situated between the main sights of Umeda and Namba/Dotonbori. It is a 5 min walk between two lines that run north-south: the Midosuji (Yodoyabashi station) and Sakaisuji (Kitahama station) lines. There are many reasonably-priced restaurants around and a 7/11 right downstairs for all conveniences. The hotel breakfast buffet - if you want to start off with a huge meal - at 1360yen is also a steal compared to other hotels. There's a nice lounge in the lobby with free coffee.

Quiet, convenient and reasonably priced hotel.
Room & bed was extremely small for couple. Fortunately we could relax at the spacious lounge provided free for all guests at the lobby floor with internet access and free flow of coffee & tea.The location is quiet and far from the shopping and places of interests. However it is near to subways which could be connected to those places easily. There was a Seven Eleven outlet just next door. The breakfast buffet spread was good. A free hand phone with internet access was provided.

Nice hotel for Osaka stay
Hotel is generally above average but not perfect because room is a bit small. If you have a couple of big bags then room will feel a bit cramp. But the guest lounge at the ground floor with free coffee and tea is very cool and the breakfast that comes with the stay is more than awesome!

Convenient location
The location is quite central, easy access to Umeda and Dotonbori shopping area. Many eateries around the vicinity of the hotel, local and western restaurants. There is also a guests lounge with self-service coffee and tea making machine. The room (twin bed) was of a good size. Saffs were generally friendly but communication was a bit of a problem.

Great hotel in Quiet Area
This hotel was great. The bed was a little smaller than a double bed for two people but we manage to fit. The area was quiet away from the busy Shin-Osaka station which was nice and it wasn't far from travelling to other great areas such as the shopping district.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days and the hotel was clean and the staff were so friendly. The buffet had a great selection especially because I'm vegetarian. They had healthy choices as well like the smoothies and fresh fruit and salad.
