Stayed two nights at Discovery Inn and my wife and I were thoroughly delighted. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, with lots of thoughtful touches that show the owners really care about providing a high quality experience. The hot tub was perfect, with jets that are actually powerful enough to feel great. Alexis was the perfect host.

Unsure when we booked it, pleasant surprise, friendly hosts, clean, decorated with so many sweet thoughtful touches, & the best hot tub! Only a few minutes into town & handout provided with useful information.

Room was clean and arranged very neatly. Bathrobes/slippers were nicely placed on the bed with real flowers on the lampstand. Bed was comfortable, but I wish the pillows were a bit more firm. AC unit had difficulty maintaining set temperatures, but room temperature was fine overall.

This may be one of the most thoughtful/best designed hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Super comfortable bed, great bathroom (big shower and a heated toilet seat!), a keurig in the room with real mugs and to go paper cups, real half and half. My only complaint (and it’s picking at straws, honestly) is no plugins close to the bed to plug in phones, and the water pressure wasn’t great in the shower (though hotel rooms are notorious for this, this wasn’t any worse than anywhere else). Lots of thoughtful touches. Great room, I’d choose this place every time in Friday Harbor.

Everything was delightful. I was received most graciously out on the road because I could not find the place. The room was extremely pleasant with those touches that make it feel really cozy like a white robe and slippers. I had not told them that stairs were difficult for me so they had me on the third floor, but when I requested a first floor unit, they immediately switched me down without any hassle.
