We were happy to find a room in Old San Juan and at an affordable price. The room was small but provided the basics of what we needed for a short stay. We were able to keep our luggage in lockers after checkout which was very helpful. This location was convenient to walk around the area and uber to cruise port.

Check-in was easy once I called twice to get instructions sent to me. Room was quaint but floor and rugs inside were so dirty I had to stay in flip flops the whole time. Shower was short, so as long as you’re 5’6” or below, you’ll be fine! Positives: Location is just a few blocks away from El Morro and the beach, so that was wonderful and just as advertised. The balcony is open to all and offered a great view of the street. Air conditioning was great. On-site assistance was available during the day.

Is my second time in one week and noise was not an issue, they keep you updated with all kind of information for you to be ready for a steady vacation. I had a hard time trying to come up with a review for this hotel. My disclaimer is this, I am 67 years old and in relatively good shape. This hotel is in the middle of all the action. The location is amazing for anyone who wants to see everything and party all night. The hotel itself was very clean. The air conditioning was nice and cold. The main bed was comfortable. They had locker storage for luggage if your flight left later in the day or you needed a place to store it. The communication with the host was absolutely fantastic. This is a great place for young travelers who want to experience all that old San Juan has to offer. All that being said, there was a flight of stairs to maneuver initially to our room. Safety features were a little nonexistent When we entered our room there was a loft with a staircase that was very steep and very insecure, especially for someone in my age category. There were no windows in our room, which made me worry about Fire safety.

We loved the location of Trotamundos. The host was very responsive and clear with their check in/check out instructions. We recommend looking at the photos and reading the descriptions - as stated, the neighborhood is quite a happening scene until at least 1am. Ear plugs are available in the rooms and were much appreciated. Overall, great for our needs.

The place is really good to be honest, just no TV and no kitchen use that bother me. Also, I didn’t like the fact that there was no washing machine there, if they could improve on those the place you be perfect in my view. But overall it was a good place to stay.
