Our stay at Taj was exceptional. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and just what we needed for a good nights rest after a long day of activities. A highlight of this hotel is the rooftop with phenomenal views of the pyramids. Eating breakfast every morning with views of the Pyramids was amazing. Taj set up our pick up from the airport which was smooth and easy. Once we arrived the owner of the hotel helped us arrange all of our tours for the week. All we had to do was enjoy our time in Egypt.
I would definitely stay here again!

I everyone was very welcoming treating you like family going extra lengths to make your stay comfortable and we were very glad to choose this place instead of a bigger hotel in Cairo. They even organized a cozy cake cutting for our anniversary on rooftop with pyramids on the backdrop. Family owned business with all cousins collectively taking care of the guests. I would recommend this place strongly

The roof top views were wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and tentative and the beds were comfortable. It was fun to watch the traffic below, camels and horses going by. Bring earplugs.

Great Staff, bed bugs, the sheets and towels were old and of poor quality. NO ELEVATOR. We requested clean towels and wet towels were delivered. The staff is nice but thats it.

I stayed for 5 days, mainly for the Anyma concert and sightseeing. The hotel was just perfect for my needs, amazing rooftop views of the Great Pyramids, the included local breakfast was really nice, staff very helpful and friendly. Every tour knew the location for pick-up / drop-off. Hotel is also minutes drive to a lovely restaurant (Egy Gate). Thanks to the staff for showing me the Egyptian hospitality.

The staff here was wonderful. For a less expensive option, good choice. The rooms are not as up to date as if you spend more elsewhere, but the location is easy and the roof top view is very good. Good choice if you want to spend less.

Rooms had some signs of wear and tear, but were kept clean and tidy. Daily inquiries if I wanted my rooom clleaned.
As the hotel lies along a quite busy street AND traffic in Egypt is VERY noisy, some noise in the rooms facing the street is unavoidable (I was prepared with ear-plugs, and that worked fine with me).
I must commend the friendly an service-minded staff. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.
I will also reccomend the trips arranged by the hotel. I had a very knowledgable and nice guide ("Hime") and competent driver(s). They made me feel as safe one can be in the traffic maelstrom of Cairo(!)
I had a great stay and can reccomend the hotel to anyone looking fra a nice and safe base for adventures in the Cairo /Giza area.

Bathroom needs counters & towel racks. No surface to put down things. Needs a shower door. Everything gets wet. No hair dryer.
No elevators. We are in our 70’s and had to climb 10 flights of stairs to get to our room. All room numbers in all floors begin with 5 and it’s hard to say where you are.

We’ve made a mistake booking this hotel, but the hotel stuff is friendly and they do their best with what they have. We found a very cheap rate and we didn’t make much research we just saw there was a great view of the pyramids and thought it’s convenient location. But as an Expedía customer much disappointed.

The airpot transfer was very good, slight hic-cup due to delays getting through the airport
The area the hotel is in is fairly noisy.
Breakfast was very good and served on the roof terrace vith views of the pyramids.
Staff were very good and helpful.
Room was very good and spacious though a couple of very small niggles such as the light switches near the bed didn't work but no issue.
Room had aircon which was a must.
though nothing to do with the hotel getting through the airport is slow, ensure you have filled in a landing card as the my airline didn't tell you that.
The bottom line is that the accomodation is very cheap but good value, with excellant staff
