Couldon Lodge is a lovey old place, full of character. The gardens are huge and the outlook across them and the fields beyond very relaxing, especially on a nice afternoon, when you've returned from work. The bed was comfortable and clean. The continental Breakfast arrangements are convenient and plenty of choice.

I liked the fact that this not a run of the mill motel It also reminded me so much of the house I lived in from 1959 - 62, not far away at Allesley (sadly gone).This was owned by Jaguar Cars to accommodate student apprentices. We were amazed by the old fireplace in the sitting room, part of one of the old City gates.

Regina was an absolute star wonderfully sunny disposition. Helpful about where to eat. Rooms are spacious and ensuite too. Breakfast is self serve continental with a good choice, however, you can cook your own in the kitchen which has all amenities. Plenty room for parking. Big lounge room. Door leads.from Breakfast.l room out to the garden which is well maintained. Squirrels, ducks,coots and.other garden birds can be seen. A very nice place.to stay, quiet and relaxing.
